Job Profile

Our Account Managers (AM) are business leaders who build profitable client relationships and make sales happen. We are relying on you to bring unique Point of View to prospects and clients, to solve clients’ business problems with technology solutions, to close deals and smash quotas. You will continually deliver exceptional results for our clients, thereby growing our business and your career to new heights.

As a Senior Account Manager, your job responsibilities may include the following:

  • Annual Revenue - Achieve / exceed quota targets.
  • Trusted advisor - Establish strong relationships based on knowledge of customer requirements and commitment to value (value of counsel and expertise, value of solutions, value of implementation expertise).
  • Customer Acumen - Actively understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy and competitive landscape.
  • Territory and Account Leadership - Lead designated territory, including accounts, account relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles. Encourage all accounts to become Softcom references.
  • Business Planning – Develop and deliver a comprehensive business plan to address customer and prospects priorities and pain points. Develop effective and specific account plans to ensure revenue target delivery and sustainable growth.
  • Pipeline planning - Follow a disciplined approach to maintaining a rolling pipeline. Keep pipeline current and leverage support from the Business Development Team.
  • Leverage Softcom Solutions – Be proficient in and bring all Softcom products and solutions to bear on sales pursuits.
  • Advance and close sales opportunities - through the successful execution of the sales strategy and roadmap.
  • Demonstrates leadership skills in the orchestration of teams.
  • Demand Generation, Pipeline and Opportunity Management.

You’d be a good fit if:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in sales of complex business software / IT solutions
  • You possess a proven track record in business application software sales.
  • You have demonstrated success with large transactions and lengthy sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market.

The role reports to the Head of Sales (Commercial Sector).
