Job Profile

As a Project Manager at Softcom, you effort has a direct impact on the outcome of the business, the excellence of our fulfilment process and the satisfaction of our customers through detailed planning. You will provide support to the Project Management team by analyzing, reviewing and documenting the requirements of a project throughout its lifecycle. You will ensure projects are delivered within defined time frames, budget and alignment to a defined client scope.

As a Project Manager, your job responsibilities includes the following:

  • Ensure the customers’ needs are being met and assignments are delivered on time by participating in project planning meetings and communicating regularly with the team and appropriate managers.
  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Facilitating resolution of issues, plan, track, and monitor projects.
  • Coordinating project delivery and eventual promise fulfilment for all Softcom customers.
  • Gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating project data and requirements.
  • Ensuring on-time delivery of projects, within scope and budget assigned.
  • Using appropriate techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
  • Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
  • Ensuring adequate resource availability and allocation for project execution.
  • Assisting the Senior Project Manager to coordinate cross-functional, interdepartmental project teams.

You’d be a good fit if you have:

  • You have a minimum of 3 years proven project management experience working in the technology sector.
  • You have excellent (written and verbal) communication skills for client-facing and internal purposes.
  • You have very good attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • You have Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • You have effective teamwork skills.
  • You are passionate and experienced with Process Improvement, Performance Management and Inventory Control.

The role reports to the Senior Project Manager.
